Maldita takes part in the new edition of the Master’s Degree in Investigative Journalism, New Narratives and Data at Rey Juan Carlos University and El Confidencial

The master’s program, which is delivered in person, will begin in October, and pre-registration is already open with a tuition fee of €7,900. Students will have access to six months of paid internships in newsrooms such as Maldita.es, El Confidencial, Servimedia, Prodigioso Volcán, and Podimo, among others.

This program, launched in 2012 by Dr. Antonio Rubio and Professor Manuel Gértrudix at URJC, has continued to innovate, incorporating the latest journalistic tools and bringing the best professionals—both nationally and internationally—into the classroom.

The goal is to train professionals from journalism, communication, law, economics, history, and other fields so that they can investigate, verify, and visualize journalistic stories using new tools and new narrative formats.

At Maldita.es, we continue to support this postgraduate program “so you don’t get fooled” and to help debunk hoaxes and misinformation.
