Maldita.es meets in audience with Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain in the framework of social innovation

Clara Jiménez Cruz, the co-founder of Maldita.es, attended a hearing today with Their Majesties the King and Queen at the Zarzuela Palace within the framework of a meeting with young social innovators from the Ashoka Foundation. At the meeting, various profiles who are leaders in the field of social innovation spoke with Their Majesties about the importance of entrepreneurship and social innovation in the present and future of the country and the different needs it presents.

Clara Jiménez Cruz was selected as an Ashoka Fellow social entrepreneur in 2019 for the vision of the project created together with Julio Montes Moreno and its ability to change systems and solve problems that affect all citizens through innovation.

Also participating in the dialogue were Maite Arango, President of Ashoka Spain; Alexandra Mitjans, Director of Ashoka Spain; Gonzalo Fanjul, founder of porCausa and Ashoka Fellow; Pablo Santaeufemia, founder of Bridge for Billions and Ashoka Fellow; and three young people who are part of the Ashoka advisory group, which this year will launch an initiative to select, support and make visible young agents of change under 21 years of age: Guzmán Fernández, Alejandra Acosta and Eduardo Fierro.

At the end of the hearing, Ashoka presented Their Majesties with an infographic outlining the 10 keys the foundation believes are necessary to unleash the potential of young people as agents of change:
