Research collaboration with Centro Crímina at Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche. The project examined the impact of disinformation circulating on social media on public opinion regarding criminal law and its application, as well as on lawmaking processes. Maldita.es provided access to its disinformation database to support the academic research conducted by the Crímina team.

The project also included 100 hours of consultancy on disinformation trends, methodologies and data analysis to support academic research.

Capacity-building project designed to strengthen European civil society organisations' knowledge and capabilities in policy advocacy against disinformation. Through a series of expert-led training workshops, CASCADE empowers CSOs—including fact-checkers, digital rights groups, and media literacy organisations—with the skills and resources needed to engage effectively in European policy debates on disinformation. The programme includes five thematic sessions covering disinformation regulation fundamentals, platform governance, EU regulatory frameworks, media and disinformation, and policy solutions, followed by an advocacy roundtable fostering cross-border dialogue and collaborative action.

Project funded by the European Climate Foundation to boost Spanish-speaking citizens' understanding of and resilience to climate disinformation narratives ahead of the 2024 European Elections. Produced 6 in-depth reports on prevalent climate narratives published through collaborations with major Spanish media outlets (Servimedia, 20 Minutos, Cadena Ser, elDiario.es, La Vanguardia, La Marea). Included prebunking media literacy materials for elderly citizens and a stakeholder roundtable event.

Cross-border investigation coordinated by EFCSN on misinformation about extreme weather events and climate denialism. Collaborative project between Pagella Politica/FACTA (Italy), Maldita.es (Spain) and Ellinika Hoaxes (Greece) to produce a joint report analysing climate disinformation narratives across Southern Europe. Maldita.es contributed to content selection, report writing, and dissemination in Spanish and English.
