Sign up for the Training Program against Climate Disinformation

The Training Program against Climate Disinformation consists of an in-person event that will be held in Madrid, on January 30 and 31, 2024, with all expenses paid .

For a day and a half, journalists will receive:

• Knowledge, tools and capabilities to detect and combat disinformation.
• Networking with the rest of the participants and the Maldita.e s journalists.

During the program, a network of journalists will also be created and formalized with whom you can collaborate to identify, deny and publish articles that help combat climate misinformation.

20 journalists will be selected who meet the following requirements:

• Be a journalist in a media (digital, print, television or radio) that is not located in Madrid or Barcelona capital.
• Be available to travel to Madrid for two days.
• Letter of support from the media where you work to attend the event and be part of a network of local journalists against climate disinformation.
• Explain how climate misinformation affects your area and how this program could help you in your professional work. 

Process:

• Fill the form . 
• The deadline to submit the application ends on December 8, 2023 .
• The 20 selected journalists will be announced on January 10, 2024 . 
• The event in Madrid will take place on January 30 and 31, 2024.
