We know that, although it will not solve the entire problem, legislation can help in the fight against disinformation. From our Public Policy and Institutional Development unit, we are in contact with those responsible for shaping these measures in order to provide them with scientific evidence and knowledge based on our day-to-day work combating disinformation.
What does this project involve?
Through this newsletter, we compile the latest updates on legislation related to disinformation, journalism and freedom of expression; relevant articles and research; and information about disinformation campaigns we have identified.
Through this exchange of information via email and online meetings, we aim to build a community of European organisations committed to fighting disinformation. This will allow us to improve coordination and impact, while seeking to increase the number of civil society organisations involved in decision-making processes related to the development of EU policies.
