The aim of the project is to strengthen the European community of civil society organisations working against disinformation through a series of five training workshops designed to enhance their skills, knowledge and networks, in order to promote more effective public policies to counter disinformation in Europe.
Following these workshops, a virtual roundtable will be held, bringing together participating organisations and independent experts to discuss the role of civil society in shaping effective responses to disinformation.
The project is funded by the European Citizen Action Service (ECAS), an international non-profit organisation based in Brussels with a pan-European membership and more than 30 years of experience. Its mission is to empower citizens to help build a more inclusive and stronger European Union.
