Maldita.es joins the EFCSN’s AI@EUElections project to strengthen its capacity to detect AI-generated disinformation

The main objective of this project is to build the capacity of EFCSN members, of which Maldita.es has been a verified member since July 2023. The project will also help define standards for addressing this type of content in the context of the European elections.

The EFCSN and its members will work on the production of an informational document that will be translated into the 27 official languages of the European Union, in order to disseminate the findings and strengthen the fight against disinformation across the European community. The initiative also includes the launch of an educational campaign with materials to help the public identify AI-generated and digitally altered content. This campaign will be disseminated by the EFCSN’s verified members participating in the project, including Maldita.es.
