The main aim of the event is to explore how disinformation narratives are influencing public perception and the European electoral process. Attendees will be able to delve into strategies to combat disinformation and the current regulatory framework.
In addition, the event will present the results of the Clima Informa project, which identified the main climate disinformation narratives in the context of the European elections and established a partnership with seven media outlets: 20 minutos, cadenaser.com, elDiario.es, La Marea, La Vanguardia, Servimedia and Onda Cero Castilla-La Mancha.
The president of the Maldita.es Foundation, Clara Jiménez Cruz, and the deputy director, Carlos Hernández-Echevarría, will moderate the discussions, which will feature experts such as Raúl Magallón (Carlos III University), María Andrés (European Parliament Office in Spain), Eduardo Suárez (Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism), Pablo Suanzes (El Mundo), Carmen Huidobro and Belén Hinojar (Climabar) and Rubén Campo (AEMET), among others.
The event is free but has limited capacity. Those interested can register through the registration form: https://bit.ly/27M
