Maldita.es is launching the #QueNoTeLaCuelen campaign on TikTok, the short-form video platform. For two days starting Thursday, 18 February, we will share advice, tips and answer questions from the TikTok community so they can learn to identify hoaxes and act responsibly in the face of disinformation.

In this campaign, we will explain why some people have an interest in spreading disinformation, provide tips to identify hoaxes and outline ways to verify content. From migration-related hoaxes to myths about science and sex, in these videos Maldita.es journalists will talk about biases, scams and identity theft techniques online.
