Maldita.es, media partner of 'La Uni Climática' organized by La Marea

The list of speakers also includes Giorgos Kallis, a Greek researcher who works on environmental justice and the limits of growth , and Xaquín García-Muros, a postdoctoral researcher at the Basque Center for Climate Change (BC3), an expert in climate change with a class perspective.

This year, ‘La Uni Climatica’ also appeals to the responsibility of administrations when designing public policies. Maisa Rojas, Minister of the Environment of Chile and IPCC expert, will speak about this; Zakia Khattabi, Belgian Minister of Climate, Environment, Sustainable Development and the Belgian Green Deal; and Teresa Ribera, third vice president and minister for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge of Spain. Likewise, Selwin Hart, Special Advisor to the Secretary-General and Under-Secretary-General of the UN Climate Action Team, will also participate.
