The Craig Newmark School of Journalism at CUNY, Google News Initiative and the News Product Alliance select Maldita.es in their product development program for newsrooms

The Craig Newmark School of Journalism at the City University of New York has selected Ana Gómez Parra, editorial coordinator of Maldita.es, for its product development program for small newsrooms, supported by the Google News Initiative and News Product Alliance

The two-month program aims to enable media outlets to incorporate product design methodologies into their workflow to become more sustainable and efficient. 

Ana Gómez Parra was selected along with 24 other journalists from Europe, the Middle East and Africa who work in a variety of media, including magazines, newspapers, television and radio. The process will be guided by experts in the media industry and product design. 

The program will support the team’s learning to develop technological products that can help the work of the Maldita.es newsroom in the fight against disinformation.
