Forbes selects Maldita.es CEO as one of the 100 most creative Spaniards in business

The co-founder and CEO of Maldita.es, Clara Jiménez Cruz, has been selected by Forbes Magazine as one of the 100 most creative Spaniards in the business world. According to the magazine, this list features people who «have shown that imagination applied to business is a source of unstoppable entrepreneurship to solve the problems of the present and draw the solutions of the future.

Jiménez Cruz was selected in the category of Marketing, Communication and Consulting for the work done in Maldita.es to fight against disinformation, in which «has created a powerful model against hoaxes that involves users in the process of verification and dissemination of denials». They also qualify as outstanding work, the work that Maldita.es does through its project Maldita Educa to «educate citizens to know how to distinguish between lies and truth».

In this section, the magazine also selects other outstanding women in their field, such as Gemma Galdón, CEO of Eticas Research & Consulting, who carries out «algorithmic audits to make companies aware of the discrimination and inequality generated by their own data». They are joined by the influencer and entrepreneur Dulceida, Beatriz Portela (CEO of Okiko Talents), Carmen Bustos (CEO of Soulsight) or Yolanda Sacristán, CEO of the digital communications group The Newsroom.

To compile this ranking, Forbes magazine created an initial list of 300 people known for their creativity who were evaluated by a committee of experts who evaluated each of the projects and the trajectory of each person.
