Are you a journalist? Do you like to investigate and tell stories? Would you like to develop your journalism skills through collaborative and dynamic workshops taught by experienced media journalists? Did you migrate to Europe or are you a first generation immigrant? And finally, do you have a journalistic story you would like to work on?
We are looking for journalists who have a migration background to join our pop-up newsroom. Selected journalists will receive a €2,000 scholarship and a 3-day training in Berlin to work on a journalistic story of their choice, with the help of Maldita.es , Are We Europe , Raseef22 and our MigraVoice project partners.
You can apply until May 3 at this link .
The pop-up newsroom is a six-month program that will award scholarships of 2,000 euros to selected journalists to develop multimedia journalistic work. The work will be published in an Are We Europe magazine and allied media. The reports will also be adapted to various formats and platforms, from a printed magazine to content for social networks.
At the beginning of the program, the selected journalists will attend a three-day bootcamp in Berlin in June. At this event, participating journalists will receive training from international media experts, practical and in-depth editorial guidance, and will have the opportunity to network.
