Maldita.es Foundation has been selected to be part of SoJo Europe: a program to promote solutions journalism in Europe

Maldita.es has been selected , along with nine other newsrooms in Europe, to join the first SoJo Europe program , an initiative that seeks to promote solutions journalism on the continent. Through this diverse collective of participating organizations from different countries, cross-border journalistic investigations will be promoted as well as an exchange of ideas that will significantly contribute to the advancement of solutions journalism in Europe.

Solutions journalism investigates and explains, critically, how people try to solve problems that affect society, taking into account the limitations that exist. Maldita.es already applies the principles of solutions journalism in sections such as Maldito Clima , and in different projects and initiatives such as La Dudoteca , a platform where citizens can ask questions and obtain answers endorsed by verified experts, through the WhatsApp chatbot , or through the different materials, resources and training offered by Maldita Educa .

Maldita.es will participate in various activities, including journalistic investigations, training programs, scholarships and mentoring.
