How to interpret the electricity bill, how to make energy consumption at home more efficient or how to take advantage of the advantages of energy self-consumption are some of the big questions that we want to answer in this project, with data and evidence. The objective is to provide proven, useful and practical information, so that citizens can make informed decisions about their energy consumption.
To this end, until May 2024, Maldita.e s will publish journalistic articles on Maldito Clima, which will address these topics and will broadcast live programs through Twitch, where it will speak live with experts and launch videos on Tiktok to bring these topics closer to people. All public.
All content produced for this project will exclusively follow the editorial criteria and methodology of Maldita.es , consulting expert sources and based on scientific evidence, to simply explain the issues that generate the most doubts about energy and its consumption.
To guarantee the commitments of neutrality, transparency and clear and honest publication of corrections , as a signatory of the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) and a verified member of the EFCSN , Maldita.es will not use sources related to Próxima Energía in any content produced. within the framework of this collaboration.
This collaboration is part of the Maldita.es Foundation’s mission to provide all the actors involved – from legislators, digital platforms to journalists, citizens and educators – tools and content based on evidence and data so that they can make informed decisions and, Together we can foster a more accessible and reliable information and media ecosystem.
