Maldita.es Foundation will train 17 European social organisations in public policies against disinformation
Maldita.es Foundation , with a grant from the European Citizen Action Service (ECAS), will train 17 European social organizations in public policies against disinformation as part of the CASCADE project (Capacities to strengthen civil society against disinformation in Europe).
The aim of the project is to strengthen the European community of civil society organizations against disinformation through a series of five training workshops to strengthen their skills, knowledge and connections to promote more effective public policies against disinformation in Europe.
These workshops will be followed by a virtual roundtable inviting participating organizations and independent experts to discuss the role of civil society in formulating effective responses to disinformation.
The project is funded by European Citizen Action Service (ECAS), an international non-profit organization based in Brussels, pan-European membership and more than 30 years of experience. Its mission is to empower citizens to create a more inclusive and stronger European Union.
