Maldita Migración is born to fight hoaxes about migration and refugees

On its own platform, migracion.maldita.es, we will verify possible disinformation reported by the Maldita.es community through our social networks and our WhatsApp number (655 19 85 38), applying verification techniques and following the international methodology of fact-checking.

At Maldita Migración we will prepare denials with verified information and facts. In addition, we will create context pieces to understand how disinformation affects migrants and we will prepare a biweekly newsletter to keep the community alert of the hoaxes that are circulating. This initiative is joined by eldiario.es and Onda Cero’s Julia en la Onda program , in order to give greater dissemination to the verifications and contents of the project.
