Maldita.es is part of the new edition of the Master of Investigative Journalism, New Narratives, Data, Fact-checking and Transparency organized by El Confidencial and the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC). Maldita professionals will teach classes in Fact-Checking and Transparencies.
The master’s degree, in person, will begin in October and pre-registration is now open with a registration fee of 7,900 euros. Students will have access to six months of paid internships in newsrooms such as Maldita.es , El Confidencial, Servimedia, Prodigioso Volcán and Podimo, among others.
This program, which was launched in 2012 by Dr. Antonio Rubio and Professor Manuel Gértrudix from the URJC, has been innovating and incorporating the latest journalistic tools and the best professionals into its classrooms, both nationally and internationally.
The objective is to train professionals in the field of journalism, communication, law, economics, history and other areas so that they know how to investigate, verify and visualize journalistic stories with new tools and new narratives.
At Maldita.es we continue to support this postgraduate course “so that they don’t let you down” and to dismantle hoaxes and disinformation.
