London School of Economics selects Maldita.es as one of 20 small newsrooms for its artificial intelligence academy

The 6-week program, with media participants from 16 countries, aims to empower digital native and small media to improve and implement artificial intelligence tools in their newsrooms.

To achieve this goal, participants will learn from experts in the artificial intelligence industry and be mentored to implement programs in their newsrooms.

• Ajibola Amzat (Nigeria): Editor at the International Center for Investigative Reporting (ICIR).
• Rute Correia (Portugal): Director of Interruptor.
• Lee Mwiti (South Africa): Editor of Africa Check.
• Saja Mortada (Lebanon): Investigative and data journalist at Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ).
• Alastair Otter (South Africa): Developer and manager of The Outlier.
• Daniel Rzasa (Poland): Editor-in-chief of 300Gospodarka.
• Nilgün Yılmaz (Turkey): Editor of Teyit.
• Frederik Kulager (Denmark): Technology reporter for Zetland.
