Introducing 'La Buloteca': A space to fight lies together

Everyone has a superpower, and with it, you can help the community make it harder for us to be deceived. Let us know about that potential hoax you received, start a thread, share your knowledge on the open debunkings… Collaborate; be Maldita, be La Buloteca. Our little library of all our knowledge about hoaxes. Let’s make it grow together.

What can you do in our Buloteca?

Search for that potential hoax you received in our search engine: All our debunkings verified by the Maldita.es team, both in text and image. JOIN THIS FIGHT AGAINST LIES!

Participate in our verification process. Report and collaborate on the debunking. We will check and debunk, following our methodology, but we need you because often you know more than we do about a specific topic. Disinformation is growing, and we need you by our side.

Our Maldita tools: Access all of them with a click; our extension, our bots, our WhatsApp service, our toolbox…

Learn and teach: Here, you’ll find our courses, manuals, and the key elements we believe are important for stopping disinformation with the most powerful tool: knowledge.

Play: Here, we will upload our Maldita.es contests and games, because stopping lies in an educational and entertaining way is not incompatible.

Who can participate?

Any maldito or maldita. If you aren’t one yet, here you can become one of this community, where more than 11,000 of us are already fighting against lies.

We know that many of you are teachers who use Maldita.es content in your classes to teach students to distinguish between what’s real and what’s fake, and that’s MAR-VE-LOUS. We want to see more of that: La Buloteca was also created for this purpose. So you can have examples to practice with students, create debunking exercises, and teach them how to use verification tools. Education is key to the future of truth.
