Maldito Dato wins the 2021 GO! Award for civil society for bringing the transparency law closer to citizens

Maldito Dato has won the ‘Open Government Dissemination in Media and Social Networks’ award in the fourth edition of the GO! Awards for civil society, given by the Provincial Council of Valencia for its journalistic work promoting the right of access to public information, the transparency law, and the promotion of its use by citizens.

The Maldita.es project specialized in transparency and the right of access, among other issues, has won this award for the second consecutive year. Maldito Dato was recognized with the same award already in 2020 in the third edition of the GO! Awards.

In this edition, which rewards the work of civil society in 2021, the Horta Sud CV Foundation was also recognized with the award in the category ‘Actions for dissemination, study, or promotion of Open Government by organizations, associations, and social groups’.

This is the fourth edition of the GO! Awards, the accolades given by the Provincial Council of Valencia aimed at recognizing and valuing the work of individuals and legal entities in the fields of research, dissemination, development of applications, and promotion of the Open Government culture.
