Ashoka Fellow 2019: Maldita.es co-founder elected social entrepreneur by international foundation for social innovation

Clara Jiménez Cruz, co-founder of Maldita.es, has been selected as a Ashoka Fellow 2019. This is a recognition of the work that Clara has done at the head of Maldita.es, together with Julio Montes, redefining the relationship between the public and the media, turning passive consumers of information into active contributors who verify and denounce disinformation, and strengthening journalistic work by acting as vectors of viralization of verified content, taking the work of Maldita.es much further.
