Combines data-driven investigation, FOI requests, fieldwork, interviews and OSINT techniques to map confiscated assets, assess transparency levels and document best practices across three countries.

Research partnership with Democracy Reporting International (DRI) funded by the Mercator Foundation to monitor online discourse during the 2023 Spanish general elections. Maldita.es analyzed political actors' social media activity on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, while using its Disinformation Management System to track misinformation on WhatsApp. The project assessed connections between political discourse and public conversation, identifying disinformation trends, narratives and virality patterns to protect electoral integrity.

Created a shared knowledge platform through monthly newsletters on EU policy processes and advocacy tips, virtual strategizing meetings for coordinated action, and special briefings for urgent policy situations. Engaged over 25 European organisations to participate more effectively in policy-making processes.
