Maldito Dato wins the GO! Award 2021 for Civil Society for bringing the Transparency Law closer to citizens

Maldito Dato has won the “Difusión del Gobierno Abierto en Medios y Redes Sociales” award at the 4th edition of the GO! Awards for Civil Society, granted by the Diputación de Valencia, for its journalistic work promoting the right of access to public information, the Transparency Law, and encouraging its use by citizens.

Maldito Dato wins the GO! Award 2021 for Civil Society for bringing the Transparency Law closer to citizens

The Maldita.es project specialising in transparency and the right of access, among other issues, has won this award for the second year in a row. Maldito Dato had already received the same prize in 2020 at the 3rd edition of the GO! Awards.

In this edition, which recognises the work of civil society in 2021, Fundación Horta Sud CV has also been awarded the prize in the category “Acciones de difusión, estudio o promoción del Gobierno Abierto por organizaciones, asociaciones y colectivos sociales”.

This is the fourth edition of the GO! Awards, presented by the Diputación de Valencia, which aim to recognise and highlight the work of individuals and organisations in the fields of research, outreach, application development and the promotion of Open Government culture.
