Over the next five years, Maldita.es, together with universities and research centers, will take part in this pan-European research initiative supported by the European Commission.
Maldita.es, Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) and the Local Police of the city of Valencia are the only three Spanish organizations participating in this project, which coordinates 18 research initiatives, 14 of which are funded by the European Commission.
Within these research activities, Maldita.es is specifically responsible for training activities related to disinformation for the organizations in the consortium, as well as assisting Rey Juan Carlos University in its research.
The goal of these projects is to develop new tools to improve societal resilience through four areas: future trends in hybrid threats, cyber and emerging technologies, civil resilience at the local level and national administration, and strategic communication and information.
This project receives financial support from the European Commission’s H2020 program, which will allocate €3,496,837.50 over the next five years, of which Maldita.es will receive a total of €39,562.50 during that same period.
