QYourself will adapt the educational content and approaches taught in journalism faculties to other teaching contexts, so that there are more educators who are better prepared to foster students’ ability to verify messages, check sources and avoid the spread of disinformation.
The project will develop and test open, practical digital educational resources—the QYourself toolkit—adapted to the needs of educators across Europe, enabling them to address the phenomenon of disinformation in their different teaching contexts and to stimulate critical thinking among their students.
What will Maldita.es do?
Maldita.es will contribute its expertise in media literacy to the development of the QYourself tools, including organising a training session for consortium members. Maldita.es will also support the design and coordination of communication activities and the dissemination of the project’s results.
How much funding will Maldita.es receive to carry out the project?
Maldita.es will receive €24,354.00 to carry out its assigned activities. The total project budget is €250,000, with a planned duration of two years, from November 2023 to October 2025.
