Maldita supports the Master’s Degree in Investigative Journalism, New Narratives and Data at Rey Juan Carlos University and El Confidencial

This academic/professional programme, launched in 2012 by Dr Antonio Rubio and Professor Manuel Gértrudix at URJC, has continued to innovate and incorporate the latest journalistic tools and top professionals into its classrooms, both nationally and internationally.

Maldita.es will continue to support the Master’s programme, both professionally and financially, and together we have ensured that future students can benefit from more financial aid to cover tuition and their stay in Madrid, as the postgraduate course is in person.

Applications open for the Master’s Degree in Investigative Journalism, New Narratives, Data, Fact-Checking and Transparency at URJC and El Confidencial: apply here!

Applications are now open, places are limited, tuition is €7,000 with scholarships of up to 30%, and classes will begin in October 2023. Paid internships of up to six months will take place at El Confidencial, Maldita.es and other partner media outlets.

At Maldita.es, we continue to support this postgraduate programme “so they don’t fool you” and to debunk the hoaxes and disinformation circulating on social media and in some media outlets.
